The Yewdale Inn is situated in the very centre of Coniston village in the heart of The Lake District, one of the UK’s top walking destinations. Our location makes us the perfect base to enjoy the area and rest after a busy day exploring the surrounding Lakeland fells.

The Inn offers a traditional country stay with 8 en-suite guest rooms. Each of our B&B Room’s offer guests a warm, comfortable and cosy stay with rooms providing either a spectacular Coniston fell view or a village/church view.

The Yewdale Pub

The Yewdale Pub offers a warm welcome to visitors and locals alike. There is always a cosy fire in winter and a jovial atmosphere. Serving traditional English pub classics.

The Yewdale Inn & Enzo’s Pizzeria

From breakfast to lunch and evening meals. Enjoy freshly prepared dishes and hand-stretched wood-fired pizzas, available to eat in or takeaway.

Guest Rooms

Comfortable guest rooms with en-suite bathroom and shower and some with bath. Each offers a view of the surrounding fells or picturesque village.

Our contemporary interiors have been designed to create a relaxing and cosy atmosphere that retains that recognisable traditional British pub feel. No matter if you want to enjoy a pint of ale by the real fire or sit down with your children for a delicious pub meal, you’re guaranteed to feel comfortable during your visit. Well behaved four-legged friends (dogs) are also welcome in the bar area – they need somewhere to rest their tired legs too.

 Verified Santa Sandwich What a lovely welcoming place. We just went in for lunch. The Santa Sandwich was absolutely delicious. Jam packed with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, pigs in blankets with roast potatoes at the side. Completely gorgeous and it kept us going for the rest of the day.  Verified Brilliant atmosphere, food and staff Really quick service, especially from Kirsten who was attentive and ready to answer any questions I had, she greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in the door which meant I was in for a great service. I came with my mum and we had a brilliant Sunday roast, the front of house staff and the chefs were very accommodating to dietary requirements, making sure that we were able to be served a meal that would work around our dietary needs.

Santa Sandwich What a lovely welcoming place. We just went in for lunch. The Santa Sandwich was absolutely delicious.
